Mobile Mystics
In 1997 and 1998, National Sports Services provided on-going services by analyzing the Mystics operations to improve operations in a non-traditional hockey market. Principal efforts focused on detailed financial forecasting and fiscal responsibility of personnel. The Mystics were sold to a group of local partners in 1999. In 2002, the owners of the Mystics contacted NSS to discuss possible relocation sites for the franchise. A joint venture was formed between team ownership and NSS which culminated in the move of the asset to a new arena in Duluth, Georgia. The team was rebranded as the Gwinnett Gladiators following the move.
