Fort Wayne Wizards
(now Tin Caps)
In 1997-98, Bill Davidson provided operational consulting for the Fort Wayne Wizards, which was the Single A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, playing in the Midwest League. Davidson analyzed the Wizard’s operations and designed and implemented programs to improve the teams bottom line. In 2008, the team name was changed to the Tin Caps, and the team moved into Parkview Field, one of the premier stadiums in Minor League Baseball. The Tin Caps still pay in the Midwest League and are affiliated with the San Diego Padres. Since its inception in 1993, the Fort Wayne franchise has been a strong performer in Minor League Baseball attendance.
