Applebees Park

National Sports Services was actively involved in developing Applebees Park in Lexington, Kentucky. The ballpark is the home of the Class A minor league baseball team the Lexington Legends. The stadium, completed in April 2001, features seating for more than 6,000, 24 private suites, a restaurant, children’s play area, multiple picnic facilities, a 2,000 square foot walk-in souvenir store and a state-of-the-art scoreboard and video screen. National Sports Services extensively participated in all aspects of the construction and development process including site and architect selection, development of stadium programming, and negotiating the GMP and scoreboard contracts.
